Being a first-time parent can be tough sometimes, but it's even worse if you've got the whole internet scrutinizing your every move.
Even though she made her Twitter account private weeks ago, model Chrissy Teigen can't escape the online mommy shamers. Earlier this week, she got some flak from by someone on Twitter who thought — get this — she was holding her own daughter wrong.
Teigen was not having it. She quoted the tweet and bluntly said, "really because that's how I'm f*cking holding her."
"I don’t give a crap where that baby popped out from!" the user replied. "Do not hold a baby like a handbag!"
"Well you hold your handbag like a f*cking idiot then," Teigen shot back.
The exchange didn't end there. Entertainment Tonight reported that the user then wrote, "Nothing grinds my t*ts like a person holding a baby inappropriately! I almost grew up deformed cause I dislocated my arm for two days as a baby!"
Not willing to let the rando have the last word, Tegien replied, "Let me know how you hold your baby when she’s about (to get) into a stroller and there are 20 camera flashes at night."
"Photos are literally split-second moments in time that evolve. I despise mommy shamers. I am a proud shamer of mommy shamers," Teigen concluded.
Let this be a lesson for all of us: Mama knows best!
