Mama June is back and hitting the streets several hundred pounds lighter.
The mother who reached international stardom after the hit show Here Come's Honey Boo Boo, went from 460 pounds to a size 4, Entertainment Tonight reports.
With the help of gastric sleeve surgery, some good old hard work and a little plastic surgery, Mama June is doing a full on reveal of her transformation on a new show called Mama June: From Not to Hot, debuting on WE February 24.
In an exclusive interview with ET, daughters, Alana aka Honey Boo Boo and Lauryn "Pumpkin" Thompson chatted with Entertainment Tonight spilling the tea on how June's hot new look came to fruition.
"She had gastric sleeve back in May of 2015, and then she slowly started losing weight, and the reason she got the gastric sleeve was because she hit a plateau — she couldn’t lose any weight,” Pumpkin told “Entertainment Tonight.”
“And then it came to a point where [the trainer] had to step in...[she] wasn’t losing any more weight.”
Pumpkin added, “Her stomach started looking gross. It was hanging from where she lost so much weight, and her arms and her chin, so she got [the skin on] her stomach removed.”
A promo for the show, which airs this Friday (February 24) shows the public's reaction to June's big reveal, but you've got to watch to see it for yourself.
Kudos to June for taking the initiative on her health, with her daughters serving as her thin-spiration.
"There is a skinnier person inside of me. I know within time, carrying weight around, I could die," June says as she weighs in at 354 pounds.
Wow. What a transformation.
