Everyone has their favorite. Disney movies are the childhood memories that we hang onto, from wishing mermaids were real, to wanting to fly the world on a magic carpet. While Disney likes to hide characters from one movie in another as crowd members or toys, they can get even more subliminal than that! Explicitly and (maybe) accidentally, there were a few connotations through the movies that were all about sex. Here are some hidden messages you probably never knew of!
Aladdin is one of the movies where his inner thoughts are revealed and they're dirty. If you turn up the volume on original VHS movie at the balcony scene you hear, "Good teenagers take off your clothes." While Disney denies this... we know the truth.
The Lion King
The hidden image in
The Lion King can't be denied and this one isn't so subtle at all. After Simba falls to the ground the cloud of dust and dandelions emerges and spells out "sex." Go ahead and check it out for yourself!
The Rescuers is about a couple of mice who rescue a kidnapped girl and already features some adult themes (like child abuse) there's some explicit nudity. In the scene where they flying through the city a topless woman can be seen in a window. Boobies anyone?
Toy Story 2
The infamous toy erection happens in
Toy Story 2 when Buzz sees Jessie helping the puppy. Since he doesn't actually have a penis the wings represent his erection. Come on Disney!
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
We always knew Jessica Rabbit had curves of a goddess and dressed a little provocative for a children's movie, but there's a scene where her vagina is fully exposed (at 2 seconds in this video). After the car crash she flies out and when her legs are spread you get a clear view. The film was edited after the home release to provide her with some coverage - poor girl.
The Little Mermaid
Oh Ariel, we wish you weren't part of this, but you are. In the original artwork for the
The Little Mermaid VHS case the front cover had an image of King Triton's castle, which has a phallic tower. Maybe it was subtle compensation for the lack of penises in merman.
Mickey and Minnie
Sometimes people have dirty minds and sometimes Disney is just obsessed with the "D." In this cover of a Mickey Mouse cartoon, Minnie's contorted body looks like a penis with Mickey's hand wrapped around it.
Jack and Gus' relationship takes a new turn with this reference to anal beads. It could just be that Gus doesn't want beads on his tail but from his expression looks pained!
Peter Pan's shadow has a pretty kinky side. Disney may try to mislead you by making you think the shadow's hanging penis is actually the tail of Peter Pan's shirt but then why is it so pointy? His knife isn't that long either, so it has to be something else...
