A Florida woman wants the "Cash Me Ousside" girl's mom to take some responsibility for the rowdy teenager's behavior.
Kimberly Peterson, 27, filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Danielle Bregoli's mother, Barbara Ann Bregoli, because of the 13-year-old's involvement in a fight in late February that left Peterson seriously injured.
According to The Palm Beach Post, Peterson claims she was outside Downtown Pizza in Lake Worth, Florida, on February 26 when Bregoli and a group of her teenaged friends got in a war of words with others nearby.
The full-on fight broke out after Peterson told Bregoli to go home to her parents, she claims.
"At that time and place, a verbal altercation ensued, instigated by Bregoli, which led to Peterson being assaulted and repeatedly battered and punched by Bregoli, and those directed by Bregoli, causing serious bodily injury," the lawsuit alleges.
Though Miss Cash Me Ousside participated in and led the fight, another girl was the most aggressive of the bunch.
After the fight, Peterson says she was left with a broken nose and a broken left thumb. She's seeking damages in excess of $15,000 from Bregoli's mother.
"This is a case of responsibility and what happens when there is no responsibility," said Gary Lesser, Peterson's attorney. "It’s hard being a parent today, we all know this, but we still have to be parents, not buddies, and certainly not business partners."
The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident and hopes to identify the girl who was with Bregoli during the fight.
Bregoli's reps told TMZ that a video of the incident (above) shows that Bregoli and Peterson never fought each other.
According to Bregoli's team, this lawsuit is "another attempt to get a dollar from someone that’s making them."
