Love her or hate her, you can’t – and apparently aren’t— ignoring her.
In 2016, Kylie Jenner skyrocketed to second place on the Kardashian family earning list, bringing in a staggering $18 million dollars. And remember, she’s only 19-years old.
That total puts her ahead of Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, and Kris. Only Kim is still making more money.
Forbes regularly puts out ‘richest’ and ‘top earners’ lists, and the company took the time to put together a custom graphic for the first family of reality TV:
As you can see, Kendall was actually only a million behind her sister, and Khloe just three million back. Kris and Kourtney are both hovering around the ten million dollar mark, and Rob… well, let’s not talk about Rob.
That said, Kim is still the powerhouse of the family, bringing in over $50 million in 2016. That works out to nearly triple what Kylie did, so Mrs. Kanye West probably doesn’t need to worry about being knocked off the throne anytime soon.
Forbes goes on to write about how young Kylie skyrocketed up the charts this year, saying, “The youngest member of the list ranks second thanks to earnings from the family show, her Kylie Cosmetics company, plus endorsement lines with the likes of Pacsun, Topshop, Puma and Sinful Colors. Like her older half-sister, Kim, 19-year-old Kylie demands top dollar for social media endorsements: She shilled for at least eight different brands through her Instagram alone in our time frame.” They go on to list the Kendall & Kylie game as another significant source of income for the sisters.
So next time your parents tell you to stop fiddling around on Instagram or taking too long with your makeup, just show them Kylie’s earnings. That’ll show ‘em.
